    Indicates if item is read only.

  • Function.Extract(amc, Optional vmc, Optional svmc)
    Return: String
    Returns the string at the specified Attribute/Value/Sub Value.

  • Function.Replace(ReplaceString, amc, Optional vmc , svmc)
    Return: String
    Performs a Replace of Contents in the Item with the ReplaceString at the specified Attribute/Value/Sub Value.

  • Function.Delete(amc, Optional vmc , svmc)
    Performs Delete of data in the Item at the specified Attribute/Value/Sub Value.

  • Function.Insert(InsertString, amc, Optional vmc , svmc)
    Insert "InsertString" into the Item at the specified Attribute/Value/Sub Value.

  • Property.ItemName()
    Return: String
    Returns the name of the Item from the specified File Object.

  • Property.FileName()
    Return: String
    Returns the FileName the Item was retrieved from.

  • Property.Locked()
    Returns True/False
    Indicates if item is Locked.

  • Property.FileHandleFrom()
    Return: Long
    Returns the internal FileHandle for the Items File

  • Property.TotalSVM()
    Returns: Long
    Returns the Total Count of Sub Value Marks

  • Property.TotalVM()
    Returns: Long
    Returns the Total Count of Value Marks

  • Property.TotalAM()
    Returns: Long
    Returns the Total Count of Attribute Marks

  • Property.Contents()
    Returns: String
    Returns the entires contents of the list as a string .

  • Function.ItemRead(plFile, ItemName)
    Perform the Read of the ItemName from the specified file.

  • Function.ItemReadU(plFile, ItemName, Optional ReturnReadOnly)
    Performs a Read with Lock of the ItemName from the specified file.
    If the Item being read is Locked the read will fail.
    If the Optional ReturnReadOnly flag is set as true then if the item is locked the item will still be read.

  • Function.ItemReadM(plFile, ItemName, lAttribute, Optional lTooAttribute)
    Performs a Read of the ItemName from the specified file. This Function is much the same as the ItemRead but allows the return of a selected range of attributes.

  • Function.FileOpenRead(FileName, ItemName, Optional DictionaryItem,
    Optional AccountName)

    This function is a quick method to Open the file and read an item.

  • Function.Release()
    Release the Lock for this item

  • Function.ItemWrite(ItemName, Optional plFile, Optional Overwrite)
    Perform a write of the Item to the file specified, if the plFile is not specified then the Items current file will be used.

  • Function.ItemWriteU(ItemName, Optional plFile, Optional Overwrite)
    Perform a write of the Item to the file specified and keep the item locked, if the plFile is not specified then the Items current file will be used.
